hey i play a warwick corvette $$ (double buck) and ive been playing for a while....i have no idea what im doing when comes to the insides of my bass. So im not sure what the problem is, every time i hit a note i get a buzz sound. different pitches have more or less buzz. when i switch to passive there is less buzz but still not gone. is there something wrong with my circuts? I just got a brand new eden 2x12 so i know its not my amp. what do u think it may be? who would you take it to to get fixed?

Things to try:

1) does the bass buzz (fret buzz) when not amplified? If so, get it set up.
2) replace the battery in the bass--low batteries in active basses can cause distortion.
3) listen to the bass with headphones. Though you just got a new amp, you don't actually know that's not the problem. Could be a loose screw in the cabinet. given different pitches cause different buzzes, I would suspect something like this more than anything else.
4) does the buzz change when you wiggle the cable in the bass' jack while playing? could be a wiring fault.

good luck.
