EMG JV, got a good deal on ebay

The first thing I noticed was that my bass sounded noticeably thicker. I normally use D'addario Chromes, but I had XL's on the bass. I was struggling with the lack of low end compared to the flats. Well, these definately made an improvement. I thought there was going to be a large treble boost, but no, not very much. I certainly didn't lose any high end but there was no super trebley hi-fi stuff going on. All in all, big improvement and the bass just sounds better in every way while still keeping the traditional jazz tone. Also, NO HUM!

Feel free to ask any questions
