I just got my Bart MMC pickup in the mail and...

I just got my Bart MMC pickup in the mail and the red and white wires out of them are fused at the tips. along with the green and the ground. Are they...supposed to be like that? (I know it's not a problem to correct, I'm just not sure whether I should be pissed at the distributor)

They're stock wired series. If you prefer them to be parallel, you can separate them.

Here is a link to Barts wiring page. I wired mine series/parallel. (last pic). Just add a switch or you could use one of those push/pull pots instead.
