Hey everyone

I don't know what the difference between P PJ and J pickups and how they perform, with or without each other. so can someone please be kind enough to clear this confusion up for me?

P pickups work in pairs. (search for an image of a fender p bass to see these)
J pickups work as a single (search for an image of a fender jazz bass so see one)
PJ is a pickup configuration that combines 1 set of p pickups with a single j pickup by the bridge.
as for the other question you will have to get someone else to answer that!
