I need help chosing pickups!!!

I just recently purchased a squier 5 string P Bass for a project.
This bass is beautiful. It has the 4/1 tuner configuration and the super wide neck(2.008) for slap monsters.

The playability is great but the sound is so so...
I want to do a complete overhaul on the electronics. I'm having a hard time finding passive single coil pickups with the right dimensions. The dimensions of the current pups are as follows:

length: 91mm
height: 1.8 mm
width: 1.9mm
distance between screw holes: 40mm

length of last fret at neck is: 75mm
string spacing at the bridge is: approximately 77mm (Measured from B string saddle groove to G string saddle groove)

Both pups have the same dimensions.

The body cavities will not allow for anything larger than 91mm. and boring the cavities out is not an option!

Any help will be appreciated. I really like this bass and am looking forward to having fun with it. Any suggestions will be appreciated. If anyone can provide direct cut and paste links that would be nice.

Oh...and I don't like the typical Volume/Volume/Tone configuration. I'm looking for replacement wiring with a Volume/Tone/Pan setup.

Any help on that would be appreciated also. Thanks Guys. I know that this is the place to come anytime I need help.

If that's the P-bass Deluxe that they had out like 2 years ago, it has the same pickups as the Deluxe Active Jazz V that is so popular today.

Those pickups are a very odd size. I did some research and here is what the sizes are so you can compare to any pickups you'd be looking at.

They are the same width as a standard 4-string Jazz NECK pickup, but the mounting holes are the same as a 4-string Jazz BRIDGE pickup.

I had these same pickups and sold them when I routed the body on my Squier Deluxe Jazz V. Here is my thread with measurements I took
(NOTE to the internet police: the link is for informational purposes only, the sale went through and is no longer active...it is not SPAM)

Pickups from Squier Deluxe Active Jazz V

There aren't many pickups EXACTLY that same size, but you might be able to get a few to fit.
But in all honesty, routing the body might be a way better solution...

Look like the Deluxe...

OK, looks like you have a lot of room in the neck pocket for any difference in mounting holes there. So you'd really have to fingure something out with the bridge pickup mounting. Those Duncans that I posed in the link might fit with minimal efforts....but I never tried, you'd have to see.

You stated "I'd say they are pretty much the same size as the Seymour Duncan AJJ-1 pro-Active pickups"

will these "active pickups" work with a passive wiring system such as the standard jazz?
