I need Help installing an Audere preamp.

Hey I just got my preamp today....well the instructions are very clear, but I have no clue which wires I should cut. Please help me!
There's like 3 cables coming from the neck p-up, 1 thick white wire and 1 thick black wire and a thin black wire....it's pretty much the same with the other pup.

what kind of preamp? It looks like your thick black wire is you ground, the thick white is probably your positive and the thin black is probably your negative. If your taking out this pre and putting another one you will have to disconnect all the wires from the pickups (unless there active). The positives go to the pot clip and the negative and ground go to ground. I just got done upgrading my 3 basses with Bartolini pre's and this is what I did and it works fine.

the thick white is your (pickup) + Thick black is - & the thin black is to connect the shielding between cavities. you don't need to disconnect the thin black wire.
