i have a 1995 warwick thumb bass nt6, with all stock electronics. being that their over a decade old im wondering if their messing with my sound because it feels like its limited or being restrained. the bass acoustically is much brighter and feels much louder then when its plugged in. im thinking if i change the preamp ill get more output and transparency thus adding more thump. so im thinking of swapping the mec 3 band for an audere classic 4 band. any advice?
