I need a near stock MTD Kingston soapbar replacement pickup

I have a MTD Kingston Artist Series 4 string bass that has been my go to bass since Christmas. My output has dropped out to next to nothing. I'm not much of a bass tech, but I think I have it isolated the issue to the single MEC knockoff soapbar type pickup. I say this because I jumpered another bass' passive pickup to the same location on the volume knob that the MEC pup connects two (just two wires are used), and my output is back to normal, meaning I think the preamp is fine. I really don't want to change the sound of this bass, and I just want a factory equivalent. Checking at the MTD site, there doesn't really seem to be an easy way to order replacement parts. Does anyone know if this pup is an off the shelf pickup that I can order without going though MTD? Is there another affordable pickup out there that is about the same thing that is in there? I didn't see any model numbers on the pickup to steer me in the right direction. Any help would be great!

Here is the bass:

Thanks guys!
Wes
