I have a fender MIM jazz V, with an audere Jz3 and a badass bridge that i want to drop new pup's into, i also don't want to spend a load of loot on these, its not my main play. which is a Lakland 55-02. i play older rock, hendrix, stones, some blues, R-n-B. through and ampeg tube amp.
any suggestions, anything for sale?

You have to decide what sound you're looking for, vintage, modern, hot, etc. We cant tell ya that man.

Very warm and punchy. Its like I always say about Duncan pickups, they just sound musical. Around $115-$125.00 for a set. BTW, your avatar creeps me out.

If they still aren't doing it for you, there have already been some great options listed. I've been blown away by Delano pickups. The guy who builds them can build just about anything you want. If you want more of a vintage sound, he can wind them a little darker...They are some of the best pickups I've ever used. www.delano.de
I know he makes a standard jazz bass sized pickup set. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
