Ok, so I have always thought bart's to be the pick up of all pick ups...
after cruising this site for a year now, i realize there is WAY more out there in terms of basses, equipment etc than i had ever imagined.
My question is, purely for personal interest.
What is the ultimate pick up for

Blues
Jazz
Classic Rock
Just grooving around alone

You can provide a pick up for each, or one that is all around. I am going to purchase some over the next bit so this is the start of my research.
I live in Ottawa Canada and we have a very limited local selection so I cant really go try anything out that is not the basic Fender, Peavey, Ibanez etc.
I am currently playing a 2006 MIA Jazz

Thanks

I play similar styles to yours and was very happy with the stock pups in my '08 MIA Jazz. Recently installed a set of Seymor Duncan Hot Jazz and I really like them a lot too. They have a great jazz tone only with more punch.
