I need some suggestions on my P project.

So earlier this week I aquired a MIM Fender P-bass w/ a maple board. It was a great deal...and I bought it with this project in mind. Certain things I already have decided on, however I haven't been able settle on my final choice of pickups.

The bass is getting a Graphtech nut, A Schaller bridge, a Vintage Gibson Sidewinder/Mudbucker at the neck, and a bridge pickup. It will be staying 100% passive, wired with 3 volumes (possibly a master Volume or killswitch too), with dual TS side jacks wired for mono/stereo opereation. Yes very Sheehan like.

Here lies my conundrum, What other 2 pickups do I pair up with this Sidewinder?

Right now I am leaning towards Lace Alumitones...obviuosly a split P in the stock location, and a soapbar in the bridge location. However....I haven't actually played anything with these pickups, so all my decisions are being made on soundclips and youtube footage....which is less than ideal.

I am looking for a modern agressive tone, with lots of mids and highs, and a balanced bottom (since it will have the Mudbucker for lots of extra bottom). The bass will probably spend most of its time in lower tunings (B-E-A-D), so I am also looking for good note definition.

Anyone have any insights?

I would post a pic....but who needs to see another black P-bass !

Hmm...I had not even thought of the Chi Sonic, I'll have to investigate these further.

Any other ideas?
