I NEED YOUR HELP !!! I HAVE A FENDER JAZZ BASS w/ PASSIVE PUPS - I WANT TO KEEP IT THAT WAY FOR A NICE, WARM TONE. I WANT THAT BIG TIME GROWL LIKE GEDDY LEE, ETC.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ??? DUNCAN ? EMG ? ETC ?

A BadAss II bridge will also help. If you want to get into amp upgrades, Gallien Krueger amps are notorious for their growl and would make a very nice compliment. For Fralin PUPS and a set of RotoSounds you're looking at about $200. A BA bridge will run about $60 and a GK head can run anywhere between $400-$800 (go to RMC Audio, they're the cheapest). |
