Greetings to all! I have been posting for several months regarding bad sound and hiss with my Ibanez SG 300. I recieved great advise regarding upgrading pups from standard to Bartolini MK4 pups. (I am sorry that I do not remember who specifically provided the advise), but thank you, thank you to whomever you are!
I replaced the pups with the MK4's. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
The hiss is gone and the sound and response is CRAZY! I love the new sound and control I have.
I always loved the neck and action. This is why I spent so much time trying to improve the sound.
It is like a completly different guitar.
Anyone having the same issues should upgrade to the MK4's.
