Ibanez ADX pups, active or passive?

The ones specifically on the 94 Sr1200.
The wiring diagram does appear to be showing the pups wired to the battery harness. here is the link to the diagram.
Its weird to that this first model of the 1200 has tha adx pups and also walnut woods! Nice, none of the other years seem to have that.
