Ibanez aeb-30 pickup not working i think

What leads me to believe that its the pickup only is that when i move eq sliders or the phase button i get noise through the amp but no sound when plucking the strings. Any ideas or anything i can check?

Sounds like the solder joint to the vol pot has gone.
