Thanks man, I honestly feel proud of it, especially how she plays, in fact I became so used to the noise and the bad action that it was seriously affecting my playing. It took about 2 hours of solo jamming tonight to really learn to appreciate what I have achieved, it is such a pleasure to play. "Stoked" is meaningless compared to me right now.

I had a Lakland 5 string that I made into a P/J a couple of years ago and did the concentric pot thing. Loved it (and wish I had it back...). I still prefer it to V/V/T.

Nice job on this one!

An utterly flawless piece of routing work Bassdude, that is a beautiful instrument.

My brother plays a black Fender Aerodyne, which is called a Jazz and has a Jazz body, but has the P+J set-up in a rear rout. I am feeling so inspired right now I have decided to build a copy. Now where did I put that parts list?

Grateful for the compliment Grateful I understand now why the guitar aftermarket is so huge, doing this kind of thing is so rewarding, firstly when you admire the physical beauty of your achievement (I mean, even when I finished the shielding, I cracked a beer and just sat there looking at her)... and then you get to pick her up gently and play... such an awesome feeling.

I'm addicted, I want to build a whole guitar from scratch now.
