J P'ups without specific pole pieces...

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for a set of 4 string J-p'ups for a 4-string bass body that I intend to put 5 strings on, so I want p'ups that don't have specific string locations...

(I'm turning a 4 string SX short scale into a 5 string piccolo bass)

Any p'up brands leap to mind?

I think this is what you are looking for. Contact SGD Music Products.

I've recently changed the internal parts of all the pickups so they handle wider spacings than before. I haven't updated the website yet.

Here's something new... I don't normally show prototypes, but I'm excited about this one.

Also, EMG, Bartolini. Or you could just not worry about it, like this guy(scroll down):

Kent Armstrong makes Blade style pickups. I like his custom pickups a lot.
