Could someone based o this images tell me what I've done wrong?

Installed J-Retro yesterday following the instructions, it sounds very good except for a small grounding problem.

Active mode:
Take my hands off the bass=Bzzz
Neck PU solo=Bzzz
Bridge PU Solo= Bzzz

Thanks in advance

I see a drilled hole which is empty. Could this be for the bridge grounding?

Good luck

I just went through this problem with a Pbass pup and the 2 wires that were attached to each other were to long and acting as sort of an antennae so I shortened them and the buzz went away. (found this on another post)

Also it was just mentioned if your bridge is grounded?

Does the buzz go away when you touch the pickup?

Hey dasto thanks for reply. The drilled hole is for the old passive grounding.

Bridge grounding is there (I should take better pictures) and I'm pretty sure that's ok according East UK instructions.

I tried to contact John East but no replies till now!!

I'll try to install it again just in case.

best
