J sized Humbucker?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys... I'm wondering if anyone knows of a humbucker that would fit in a normal J-pickup sized hole. Basically I have a PJ and I'm not so much for the J side of it and would like something a little beefier. I'm looking for something passive.

also would a Darkstar work/sound good over a J-hole in the bridge position? In fact I'm open to anything where I don't have to route the bass

There are side-by-side humbuckers and stacked coil humbuckers that will neatly fit into a J hole. Do an eBay search.

Hi

DiMarzio DP 123's are humbuckers and are well thought of on TB. I have a set of DP 126's on my PJ that sound good.
