I'm thinking about to make a Jazz+P "Fender" copy:
P-bass body and neck, 4 strings, bridge -J single coil, midle P pup and neck -J single c.
And it'll have 2 outputs.
Thinking about 3 volume(one pot each pup)..... and 3 tone(bass and treble-one pot and midle one pot)
and a switch to choose betven the J and P pups.
Switch:
J.First out - the both J's
P.Second out - the P pup and the J's.
Volume:
1st - NJ
2nd - BJ
3rd - P
This three volumes are cause i'd like to have all combinations posible, when the switch is on P. So i can add the neck or bridhe J to the P pup.
And when it's on J; both J's, or onli BJ or NJ.
The tone pots must work by all switch positions.
The two outs will go to a ABY.....
For now, cause i don't have two amps.
...so i can choose either one out or the second is goin to the amp.
Second option is 3 options switch:
1.First out - the both J's
2.Second out - the P pup.
3.and Both out ....-cause i think that the
Js can be subordinate of P or the other way.
and if this choice
then the first out works for only
Js
the second only for P
and both for both....of course.
Third option is only one out, without the switch and all the rest stays.
But there i think will also not be a clear-independent conection-interacting betven the pups.
Im confused. ..heh...
cause i have more options vith more switches and only one Volume, and so on,...
but i think these with 3 volume are the beset . . . .huh.....
So i thought, someon could help me.....
with the wireing diagrams...
and your suggestions.
thanx and greetings
