Jack Options For A 7/8 Hole

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, im looking for jack options for a body with a 7/8 hole. I prefer NOT to use screws or anything else that will leave marks on the body. Its not that i wont use a jack plate with screws but im trying to find other options right now.

Does anyone make a deep socket jack that fits a 7/8 hole? That or somethign like it would be ideal since they are held in by pressure from a nut and oring.

Any help would be great. Thank

Uses 2 screws to hold the cup on doesnt it? If not point me in the right direction.

EDIT: The original doesnt but the upgraded version does. Thats def an option but id still prefer a deep set socket thats held in place by a nut and oring. All the ones ive found are only for 1/2in holes.

Honestly, I've never played a Tele, I'm a Strat guy.

It doesn't look like they need any screws though.

They dont need any screws, but you need a tool to install them correctly.

Hmmm, ill have to do a bit more searching i guess.

i recall an article in some old geetar rag where a deep socket (as in socket wrench) worked perfectly as a tool for that....
