I have searched all over TB and google for this....

I would like to replace the pre in my jag and leave everything else unchanged. I want to keep all the controls exactly the same...just a different pre.

Can someone help me select an appropriate pre for easiest installation...and then direct me in the installation?

I am pretty good with electronics and soldering but my knowledge of types of pre's available is limited. And all those knobs and switches on the jag are confusing.
