Hey guys.
I'm looking to upgrade the pickups in my Jag from stock to possibly the Damarzio Ultra Jazzes.
Any ideas? Comments? ETC
Also, are they gonna be a simple swap over, i.e are the stock pickups standard 4 wire etc.
Looking to use as main for my band below.
Sorry to be brief, in work
Thanks guys. www.myspace.com/sacredband |

With all the options you have in the Jaguar it's probably a knob and a switch away, unless you are playing in passive mode and are unhappy with the tone (too bright, too dark, muddy, clean)?
Just because your pickups are stock doesn't mean they are bad. |

I love the tone but it just needs a bit more the sound iss quite weak, I play active all the time. From what i have gathered these pickups should help with this. |

Aside from that, as a proud Jag owner, I really don't see a need to ever swap out the stock pickups for another Jazz-type pup. Mess with the switches and knobs more.
The Jag absolutely does not have weak output, unless you have an electrical issue (in which case new pups still aren't the answer). |
