Hi TB,
I currently have a stock jaguar bass with some flats slapped on, but although I like the bass alot, I've got some gripes with the pre.
First off all, the two-band pre doesn't seem to roll gradually, it's more of a Db boost button then a preamp! I noticed around the board some people also had this issue ( sloppy wiring???) and managed to fix it.
If somebody knows the answer please help me out! :P
Second, if you were to pick a new pre to go into the jag, what would you pick? An aggy obp? I'm confuzzled over the options and can't seem to find comparisons of the usual suspects like with for example pups...
What cool mods that would require minimal routing ( alias feasible mods) would you do to it, electronicswise?
