| well, REAL '62 controls' are more isolated from oneanother with a resistor (so I understand) and are a little bit cooler than V/V/T outputs because of it.
you *could* remove the resistor to have a little bit more tone control but similar output potential, but you might be better off to just get the control plate and have simplified controls, like a vol/blend, tone pushpot with series/parallel or tone cap mod...not only would that look killer, but unless you want the real vintage tone approach, you might be disappointed with an overhaul.
