I was thinking of making the volume pots push-pull with the first one being for series/parallel and the second for passive/active. The tone would either stay the same or be a push-pull normal/clean boost.

Thoughts?

FWIW:

first thought is you didn't say what your existing controls are. Not sure where the preamp fits in, just the volume/switching. I don't see a question here actually, nor question mark punctuation to point some direction.

HI

Just a bunch of confusion to me. Keep it simple.
