jazz bass pickup advice. thoughts?

So, I'm rebuilding an SX j-bass. I'm looking to put in a new set of pickups. I'm not trying to go too nuts as far as price goes. I was looking at the Duncan Quarter Pounds. Anybody have any experience with them?

I was also thinking about EMGs.

Any thoughts?

My playing style varies from marcus miller to church music to country/rock and everything in between. So, I'd like something that can be fairly flexible.

i love them. Ive had them in 3 basses now and find the sound better than an american jazz bass sound. in my experience i have gotten better bottom end and mids from them. I have found them to hum alot less as well. Maybe i have been lucky, but i think they are good.
