Jazz Bass Pickups, MIM, Model J's, or Noiseless

I have a standard squire jazz bass that my dad bought me for christmas back in 2005 that i love to death. the only thing i didn't love were the pickups, so last year i replaced them with some SJB-3 Quarter-pounders that to me don't get the sound i want. IMO they're far from the traditional jazz bass sound, so once again, i'm in the market for new pickups.

I've narrowed it down somewhat to a few options. i was looking through the forums and i heard pretty good things about the model j's, but prior to that i had my mind pretty much set on the noiseless jazz bass pickups that go for 120. i was looking around on the internet though earlier today and i found a site that was selling made in mexico jazz bass pickups for 30 dollars each.

so basically what i'm asking is if anyone has any recomondations, and what people think of the 3 sets of pickups i've mentioned. i want that traditional growly jazz bass sound. i'd try them all out myself, but i don't have the money or time to really do that. i've heard the noiseless jazz bass pickups before, and i think they sound pretty amazing, but if i can get close to that sound, while staying far away from 120 that would be ideal.

noiseless jazz bass pickup set-$120.00
DiMarzio model j-$100.00
MIM jazz bass pickups-$60.00

Model J's are nice, not exactly vintage sounding, but I like 'em. Got a set in a Fretless Jazz Bass.

I have a PJ bass with an Area J pickup in the bridge position it to me sounds pretty vintage-ish more so than the model J. Some people don't like the Area J because its not super loud as other makes and doesn't "zing" as much.
But I don't think these attributes reflect traditional vintage jazz bass sound anyway.

IME both the Model J (more modern sounding jazz pickup) and Area J (more traditional sounding pickup) sound pretty nice bang for buck, and both do good jobs at keeping the buzz away.
