I'm thinking about building a jazz with 60's p/u positioning. I want something that has warmth, has enough mids to cut through a mix, but has some top-end sizzle. Also, I want to go with a passive set.
I read Smash's reviews in the sticky, and I'm considering either Antiquty II or Nordstrand NJ4SE. Am I in the neighborhood, regarding these pickups and my tonal goal? Am I missing something obvious?
I may want to pair it with an Audhere. Any input?
