Jazz pickups for distortion

I'm eagerly awaiting my new fender jazz areodyne bass and am considering modding it. Is there a jazz pickup designed to handle distortion...and a lot of it?

Look into the Dimarzio Model J. The DP123 set. They are humbuckers with a bit of rolled off high end. Work great for me with distortion.

I have them in both my fretless and fretted J basses. They are all I really use.
