It seems to have given me what I wanted, which is a more full sound from the bridge position, and quieter operation when soloed.

I left the stock neck pickup (Geddy Lee sig model). The output levels seem to be the same for both but when both are turned all the way up there is a definite change in the sound. It seems like the lows are being cut. I assume this is a phasing issue or something with the coils of the dissimilar pickups(single vs. humbucking)? It's not a huge issue as I tend to favor the bridge these days anyway, just seems odd.

If it's a big bass cut, it may be that your pickups are out of phase. Reverse the polarity on one, and see if that helps.

That made it go away, although I was tempted to leave it because it was almost like having a phase switch.

Thanks, as always.
