Keep Audere or not...

Sign in to disble this ad
Currently I'm running an Ampeg V4 with a Jazz bass with an audere jz3. Lately I've been wondering if it's even worth it keeping it in. I usually keep the settings close to flat. I'd like to say theres a big difference, but to be honest, I've had the audere on for so long that I can't really remember how the jazz sounded stock. Convince me either way?

only one way to find out: remove the audere and go back to passive and give it a try

I say keep it. It's always nice to have that added boost if you need it, and the Audere is really transparent sounding anyway.

NO kidding fukmangriff! I just got mine in today and it was a challenge getting it in the cavity.

My jaw hit the floor though when I plugged it in and heard it. And I ordered another. : )
