Kent Armstrong Lipsticks for Jazz

Hi, just got these PUs put in my Warmoth Jazz. They sound great but didn't fit without a little routing FYI. Looks awesome IMO....isn't that what matters?

Great. How about giving us a complete review and a comparison to the pickups you had there before? There haven't been to many reviews of Kent Armstrong pickups here.

I've been thinking of putting a pair into my Danelectro DC. It'll require a bit of routing but should improve the sound. I'd like to know what you think of the pickups.

I can only compare them to the Duncan SJB-1s that were in there before. The Armstrongs are higher output and warmer/fatter, probably closer to Duncan's 'Hot' series. I'm not very good with descriptions, let me know if you have more specific questions.

Thanks. That's a pretty good description. Do you pick up a lot of noise when soloing one pickup?

No, actually they are very quiet for single coils. The bass is shielded pretty well though.
