Kill the Buzz!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Folks

Newbie bass player to the site here!

I've been teaching myself the bass for a while now and haven't quite got to the point where I can afford an equipment upgrade.

I've a got an old "Image" P-Bass copy (Korean) which has been good to me but I want to repair it and and old Gorilla practice amp which has seen better days. I keep getting a loud buzz from the bass - it comes and goes but is very irritating. The problem (I think) is in the insulation but I've not opened the bass up as I don't want to create more problems than I solve and **** up my bass!! Is there a quick, easy and safe method for getting rid of the buzzing that someone can walk me through, please???

Thanks in advance,

J
