Kubicki Pre-Amp in another bass?

I am about to acquire a Kubicki Pre-amp and am going to put it into one of my other basses. I was wondering if anybody else has put a Kubicki pre in a bass and what was the level of difficulty in the process?

I have a spare Kubicki preamp and I want to put it in another bass.

I actually ended up not doing this because I got laid off from my job right around that time and didn't buy it.
