Lace ALUMA P is really worth it...?

I ordered a LACE ALUMA P almost a month ago and it seems that they have some production problems or a lot of demand, any way I feel like I cant wait any longer and I want to cancel my order and buy another pickups... so Im asking here your opinion... is the ALUMA P worth the LOONG wait or I should buy another one? (sugestions welcome)

I haven't gotten to play one but in general I usually let other people spend their $$$ on the cutting edge stuff and then make my purchases later when there are ample opinions or after I've had a chance to try one myself.

Yes we are experiencing a backlog. Too many buyers and we cant get them made fast enough. Amazon may still have stock, as may a few other retailers, but I apologize for the wait.

I paid for mine on September 2nd from this store, and Bruce (at Aamp's) and Mike (Lace) have been really good about keeping in communication with me when I email them to see what's going on. As of the 3rd of this month, he was supposed to have received a few of the black AlumaPs...

But I still haven't seen mine.

Aamp's shipment of Aluma-P's are being shipped out today. They should have them in this week.

Once again, sorry guys for the delay. I really think you'll like these p'ups, though, and hope you feel it was worth the wait. Still looking for BassBars...

I just got the email from Bruce at Aamps saying he had received the chrome pups... Did you guys send them black pups as well, or are we still waiting on those?

If it's going to be much longer, I'll go ahead and pay the extra for the chrome, but if they're near, I'd just as soon wait.

Hey, Mike at Lace. I know you're busy. I shot you a couple questions via email and haven't heard back. Since you happen to be here, I'll just ask:

When will the Alumitone J pups be available, and are there any plans to offer the bass pups in gold like our guitarist buddies have as an option?

We have stock of the 3.5 Bassbars. We just put one in Mike Watt's EB-3.

In speaking to Jeff, The Aluma-J's will be out by NAMM and there'll be a Gold option as well, from what I understand.
