Are Lace-Sensor pups standard on J 5 bass (American)

Does anyone know if Lace-Sensor pups are original pups in American made 1996-1997 Fender Jazz 5 string basses? If not, what pickups did Fender put in these basses? I'm assuming Fender used only one kind of pup but if someone knows otherwise, please educate me. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they were. Every one I've seen has had them, including the one I owned and the one I borrowed :P

They were standard on the Jazz Plus, the predecessor to the American Deluxe. I don't think they were ever stock on the passive American Standards/Series.
