Lace sensors?

Has anyone tried the lace sensors for jazzbass? Im thinking about changin my pups on my Mim jazzbass, and im more inclined to the bartolinis and dimarzios; but I have never heard anyone discuss the lace sensors, and their guitar gold sensors are lovely. Any opinions?

I have them in my '94 Fender American Jazz Deluxe Plus V, and they sound great to me. Slightly edgy classic J-bass tone.
