Lakland 4401 neck replacement pickup

Well I still have that need, a need for a more p sounding pickup on my 44-01. Those bartolinis are great when both of them are on. But the neck pickup just lacks that... warmth that the p bass has. So I was thinking about putting a seymour duncan SCPB-3 to get that tone. But the problem is that those 51 p basses that this pickp is made for, their pickup is placed more towards the neck than the 44-01 and I'm afraid that there will be some string spacing issues. And the other idea is that I put a nordstrand big split. I would get a custom pickguard made for both options. Please give me some advice

Or I could put a nordstrand fat stack? I have never heard either nordstrands so if anyone could tell me what's the difference in their sound and do they sound close to the real p pickup.
