HELP!!! I've got a 55-94 and I just discovered that when I flip the switch to the front (neck) the BACK coil is activated on the bridge pup, and vice versa! Anyone else have this happen? (mine's a LEFTY....I'm sure that's why) Also, they got the positions for 500hz and 700hz mixed up on the dip switches! (ditto) This certainly explains why I couldn't get anywhere close to a jazz bass sound!

Hah ... oops!!!

You can fix it by rewiring the switch, but I probably wouldn't bother. Now you know!

The "forward coil + neck" sound is a cool one, but it sounds more like a PJ than a jazz.

Well, I turned the switch around today....it's a whole new world. Always wondered why the bridge pup got so wimpy in the forward coil position...
