Lakland dual single coil pickups... Status?

I just started to read about these pickups and could use some info. Does anyone know if these are available yet, and if they have the chrome housing for them out yet? I've been want to do a DarkStar five string but since they seem to be stalled out, the Laklands sound like a great alternative. Also, if anyone has a bass with them let me know what you think!

never had one but I'd contact Lakland. Assume you'd have to to get one anyway - if I understand what you're saying.
