Lakland JO 5 replacement pups?

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone make a hum cancelling Jazz 5 pickup that will fit directly into a Lakland Skyline JO 5? These are the same dimensions as a Fender Jazz 5. The Fralins are great, but I only use the bridge pickup and it can get quite noisey.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks___Fritz

I replaced the Fralins in my Skyline Joe Osborn 5 with a set of Bartolini 57 J1 pickups last week. I'm very happy with them and the way that they react to the J-Retro preamp thats in my bass. The bridge pickup has more low mids than the Fralin does and it is humcancelling. The bridge pickup's cover was slightly too fat to fit in the route, so I had to trim it down with a razor blade to make it fit. These are porbably your only option unless Fender has something available.
