Lakland LH3 and battery life

Sign in to disble this ad
Second fresh 9V in my Lakland 44-02 in 45 days. Using it about 2 hours, 4 times a week. And NOT leaving anything plugged into the output jack when not in use. Could there be a short? Certainly not the longevity im used to with EMG systems. Wondering whether i should use it in passive mode when not critically important. I would think in passive mode it uses less battery than active. Anyone experiencing this sort of issue?

It could possible be the output jack. It's about a $15.00 fix. Had a similar problem in a 55-02
