Lakland Pickups?

Sign in to disble this ad
I think I already know the answer, but there's no way to buy lakland p bass pickups alone is there? I think it's time for a change from Seymour Duncans, looking for a new sound. If the lakland pickups are a no go, can anyone recommend replacement pickups just like them? I love laklands but I can't afford that right now. College debts sucks.

I am almost sure that you can directly order them from Lakland.

If you can't get the Lakland P (which I'm pretty sure you can), try the Nordstrand Np4 or the Fralin P-Bass Pickup. Both of them are superb.

I don't know if I'd pay $200 for the pickup. Try out a Nordstrand NP4. Someone in the classifieds has one for sale. They are selling it for $85. NO RELATION TO SELLER AT ALL...

FS - Nordstrand NP4 Pick Up

Check it out.

In general Nordstrands are a bit more modern sounding and Fralins are pretty accurately vintage sounding pickups.
