Lawrence's P-46 - what capacitance?
I've just ordered Bill's P-46 precision pickup.
There's 0.1uF capacitor on wiring scheme. I have some 0.047
laying around but I'm curious which one do you use with these
pickups? I'll be on a market for some el. parts and I'll buy some
other value cap-s to try out, if recommended. Thank you!

the 0.1uf is used as a treble bleed. For the tone cap a .047 or sometimes a .022 can be used depending on your tastes.

Treble bleed caps are often 0.002µF.
0.1µF is what some old Fender basses used. I like 0.047µF better. It leaves more midrange.
