Lull MV4 with Nordstrand Fat Stacks & Bartolini pre?

Anyone have experience with the standard 18v Bartolini pre in Mike's basses with the Nordstrand Fat Stacks wired for single coil and humbucker modes?

Looking for mostly vintage sound with a little more jazz bass character over the standard Lindy Fralins.

I like FatStacks a lot, especially wired for SC and HB. They sound incredible...but, I don't know if I'd call them vintage sounding. They are bigger (highs and lows) and clearer sounding IME.

Are the routes currently for jazz pickups? I'd stick with that based on your preferences, but YMMV.
