Okay, I want to upgrade the preamp in my Marcus Miller Signature to a Bartolini preamp. The tone I am trying to accomplish is basically the Marcus Miller tone. You can youtube Marcus Miller video to get an idea of the tone, but as far as someone else sounding like him, found this video. This is pretty much what Im looking for. Now I've been looking on Bartolini's website and their are so many different varieties of preamp. Im a little confused on what to get.
I want to be able to install the preamp without drilling any more holes and stuff so Im thinking I need a 2 band preamp right??? And I dont want Vintage Tone Control. I want it to be the like the preamp already in Signature with just ((Neck Pickup/Bridge Pickup/Treb/Bass)), so which of the Bartolini's do I need to get???
Also instead of push/pull to activate preamp, I want to keep the toggle switch to activate preamp. Is this possible with Bartolini preamps?
