Is there a way to measure the value of caps. I have a box full, most are missing labels. Trying to organize them.

yes, you buy a meter that measures capacitance.
something like this

$20, it's cheap, but it'll probably do the job for you

Yep... Just get a multimeter.
They are a great household tool, even if your not into electronics.

Duh. I have a Fluke 87-5.
Didn't know it did capacitance. RTFM fail. Thanks.

LOL, if i am paying that kind of money for a multimeter, it better have a capacitance function!
