how do mec jazz pickups match up to bartolinis?
what is the biggest difference in tone if there is any?

Also state wether you think other pickups such as emg, basslines, delanos or whatever the case maybe be are better an why?

I swapped my stock MECs for a set of Barts. I run the Barts passive and also installed a homemade varitone and it sounds great. The Barts have a much wider tonal range, they sound much deeper without giving up any of the top end or mid range grind.

In my experience, Barts are darker sounding than MEC.
What are you looking for in terms of sound?
EMGs are brighter than those two.
