Hi All,

Seeking comments as to tone, noise, etc. on the MEC M 60201 active Jazz Bass pickups.

Those are standard on some Warwick basses (Thumb, Streamer Stg II, Corvette Std, Katana) and are active like EMG's.
IMO those pickups sound very good, i had a Thumb BO 5 and at some point changed the pickups for EMG's, i expected the bass to sound different but it ended sounding the same.

I have heard many people say that the pickups are good, but the MEC active preamp leaves something to be desired. I like the sound of them. Not too noisy, good frequency response... then again, I like Warwicks
